About Brenda

Brenda is passionate about creating learning environments where all learners can belong and feel empowered on their journey to reaching their full potential.

Building relationships is at the core of her work; whether that be in connecting learners around the world, supporting inquiry that will move forward more equitable and inclusive practices, or empowering learners through environments that bring learning and technology together in powerful ways.

When she’s not consulting you might find her traveling, hanging out with her human and fur family, curled up with a great book, or knitting something to gift to someone.

Brenda finds that John Holt’s powerful quote “Learning is not the product of teaching. Learning is the product of the activity of learners” speaks to her passion for authentic, personal and learner driven learning environments.
