Join ALP and StrategicEDU in Nashville, Tennessee for our Second Annual Generative AI Summit – The Curious World of Generative AI, hosted by Nashville Public Schools and sponsored by Google, Lenovo, Panorama, and Classlink.

This event is open to district superintendents and two additional guests.

Schedule:

Monday, May 5: Superintendents/Superintendent-Designee Session
Tuesday, May 6: Full Day – All participants
Wednesday, May 7: All participants – Summit concludes at 2:00 p.m.

Overview: The second annual Generative AI Year of Learning Summit will bring together up to 250 education leaders from 75 school districts to focus on systems-level integration of Generative AI within learner-centered models.

Vision: Focus on systems-level integration of Generative AI within learner-centered models.

AIM: The Summit aims to:

  • Showcase innovative case studies from participating districts.
  • Activate collaborative partnerships between ALP, sponsors, and participating districts.
  • Learn from keynote and breakout session practitioners.
  • Strategize around Generative AI for the 2025-26 academic year.

Dr. Jules White
Dr. Jules White

Dr. Jules White is a National Science Foundation CAREER Award recipient. His research has won multiple Best Paper Awards. He has also published over 160 papers. As Dean of Strategic Learning Programs, he led the online MS in Computer Science at Vanderbilt to the #1 ranking by Fortune for online MS in Computer Science degrees. Dr. White’s research focuses on cyber-security and mobile/cloud computing in domains ranging from healthcare to manufacturing.

Dr. Alec Couros is a professor of educational technology & media and the Director for the Centre of Teaching & Learning at the University of Regina. He is very active as a digital learning consultant and a popular keynote speaker, having provided hundreds of keynote presentations and workshops to post-secondary, K-12, corporate, non-profit, and youth audiences.
