About Alexa
Alexa is passionate about building the capacity of leaders and teachers to create equity-centered, relevant, connected, innovative educational experiences for students and families.
Holding students at the center and recognizing school and district context, she collaborates with educators to solve complex problems with carefully curated, results-based solutions. Rooted in teaching and learning, Alexa has served as a Principal, Teacher, Academic Coach, Professional Learning Specialist, and as Adjunct Faculty at The University of Pennsylvania.
When she is not consulting, she can be found hiking with her husband, reading a book, cooking, or spending time with family.
A quote that guides her daily life comes from no other than poet and activist Maya Angelou: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
