About Bill

Bill is passionate about the purposeful/humane use of technology and building up fundamental digital literacy skills across K-12 education.

Bill has experienced 18 years in publicly funded education at the K-12 level. Most recently, he has worked with the Ottawa Catholic School Board as Coordinator of their Learning Technologies department. Bill is passionate about purposeful and humane use of technology, differentiated strategies for universal design for learning, as well as building up fundamental digital literacy skills across K-12 education. Bill is also helping shape the next generation of teachers as Professor at in the uOttawa Faculty of Education program.

In his community, you can always find Bill at the local hockey arena either coaching hockey or giving back to the hockey association as fundraising and communication Coordinators. During the summer months, Bill spends most of his time relaxing at the lake and enjoying the great outdoors with his family.

My favorite guiding quote is, “Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” I firmly believe that hard work, perseverance, character and self-belief lead you down a path for success, even if there are bumps along the way.
