About Christine

“Work is love made visible”- Khalil Gibran

Christine Selby has centered her career around her biggest hope: that students and communities would have access to and engagement  with learning that positions them to develop their talents, pursue their goals, and contribute to their communities.

Her career has been focused in the areas of PK-12 education, community development, and local government. The highlights of her work days have always been the students and families that she has had the privilege to work with. This has ranged from developing STEM programming with first generation Somali students, to building coalitions to bring activity and safety to parks, to filing library books in rural Bolivia.

Christine leads with her values, prioritizing people over product. Her goal is always to work collaboratively. Giving people the opportunity to lead out of their personal and collective strengths on behalf of students.

When she is not working you can find Christine; running, hiking, traveling, cooking, podcast binging, at church and most of all being with the people that she loves.
