About Jessica
Jessica approaches educational transformation with the heart of a teacher.
She has 25 years of experience in teaching, curriculum design, and program implementation. Jessica has had the opportunity to teach every grade between 4th and 12th, and to work at the school, district, state, and university levels.
She was named the 2009-2010 North Carolina Teacher of the Year and is passionate about innovation, curriculum design, and creating opportunities for all students. She has done extensive work with curriculum design, Portrait of a Graduate, Dual Language Immersion, and preparing students and families for postsecondary opportunities.
