About Jessica
Jessica approaches educational transformation with the heart of a teacher.
She spent 13 years teaching every grade between 4th and 12th, and she believes that all students, regardless of background, deserve the opportunity to learn from amazing teachers. Supporting teachers is at the heart of the work she does, whether working directly with them or the leaders that shape their work.
In addition to consulting, Jessica is the Director of College Readiness in a K-12 public school system in North Carolina.
When she isn’t working with school leaders and teachers, she can usually be found watching her daughters play high school, club, and collegiate soccer or watching her son swim.
One of her favorite authors and speakers is George Couros. In his book, The Innovator’s Mindset, he said, “Change is an opportunity to do something amazing.” Jessica embodies that quote and believes that change is the key to innovation in education.
