About Rachelle
Rachelle is passionate about learning and thrives on working with educators and students. She has extensive experience on topics such as AI, AR/VR, assessments, cybersafety, SEL and STEM.
Rachelle is a consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and Spanish and STEAM teacher. Rachelle loves working with students and educators because of her passion for learning and helping others. Being able to share her knowledge and to build her own skills by connecting with others is what motivates her and keeps her inspired. She knows how important education is and wants to continue to do more to help others provide the best for their students and to help them to feel supported.
Rachelle has a Master’s in Instructional Technology and a second doctorate, focused on Educational Technology. Rachelle is an ISTE Certified Educator and recipient of the ISTE Making IT Happen Award and presidential awards for volunteer service. Rachelle has written eight books. ‘Her newest “Things I Wish […] Knew” includes 50 educators from around the world. She is a columnist for Edutopia, Defined Learning, and Getting Smart.
When Rachelle is not consulting, she is teaching Spanish and STEAM full-time. She is also writing blogs and working on her doctorate. Occasionally she practices law in some of her extra time.
Rachelle is a huge fan of quotes. Her first book “In Other Words: Quotes That Push Our Thinking” was inspired by her love of quotes and how they help us to reflect. A book that is significant to her is “Stillness is the Key” by Ryan Holiday as it is a reminder to take moments for ourselves and the importance of being present.
