About Tammy
Tammy is a facilitator and educator who is passionate about creating cultures that foster collective inquiry, transparent practice and reflective dialogue.
Tammy believes in collective learning and leading which positions leaders to be learners and learners to be leaders. In education, this can apply in the classroom with students and teachers; in schools with students, teachers, other staff members and leaders; and in school districts with school stakeholders and district leaders. Of course, other valuable perspectives that also contribute to continuous learning and the opportunity to lead include families and community members. Through facilitative techniques, Tammy optimizes group dynamics, enhances communication, and fosters a collaborative and cohesive learning community.
When Tammy is not consulting, you will find her spending time with her family and friends; being active outdoors by horseback riding, biking, hiking, and running; traveling and exploring new places/cultures; and diving into nonfiction texts/videos.
Tammy is greatly inspired by a quote from Helen Keller, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” This quote guides her as she works with others and fosters collaboration in those she serves as a facilitator, coach and consultant.
