About Terrica
Dr. Terrica Young sees herself as a lifelong learner who has served as a teacher, principal, and district administrator since spring 2000.
Being a military spouse has allowed her to serve in diverse communities across the United States and abroad. Outside of education, she has been committed to teaching and learning in both the military sector and in business. She thrives on helping others tap into their skills and abilities through her coaching and transformational styles of leadership, and she enjoys connecting with people and learning through their experiences.
Terrica believes that human connection and curiosity is the foundation of building relationships, which is an asset that she attributes as the key to her success. It is her genuine interest in helping people connect, whether to each other, to a skill, to a hobby, or to a learning experience, that drives her passion for educational leadership and coaching. She truly values others and is intentional about getting to know the strengths, growth opportunities, and motivation of those she serves. She is excited to partner with ALP communities for more opportunities to get in the trenches with her teams to problem solve and innovate to inspire positive change.
