About Tim
Tim never stops learning and is always up for a new adventure.
He believes that listening is the key to understanding and reflection is the key to growth. In his 20 years in education, Tim has helped students gain access to opportunities they may have been traditionally excluded from in a one-size-fits-all model of education. He strives to make learning accessible, relevant, creative, and multidisciplinary to prepare young people for the uncertain future ahead.
While not working with learners, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and their three kids, reading books, riding bikes, taking hikes, spinning records, and volunteering with Scouting groups in Richmond, Virginia.
“Whatever good work you do, whatever powerful, profound work — do it because it’s right or because it’s necessary. Do it to make change for the better. Do it because you know you must. Don’t do it for credit.” John Lewis
