About Lori

Lori is a change agent committed to the belief that all students can learn deeply and joyfully.

Lori believes that the mission of schools is to educate and inspire all children to realize their best selves and that we achieve that mission by holding all children to high expectations, supporting one another to do our best work each day, and holding one another accountable to our collective commitments to children. It is through living that mission that we achieve our vision: schools that function as dynamic and innovative learning communities graduating inquisitive critical thinkers who are prepared for the rigors and joys of college, career, and life.

Lori lives in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island.  When not working, she can be found running by the ocean, reading a novel, or shopping for yet another dress.

“If we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob them of tomorrow.” –John Dewey
