Myla’s passion for creating an engaging culture of critical thinking and creativity for all learners motivates her always to be curious.
Myla, a consultant nationally and abroad, shares her insights on literacy, technology integration, and learner-centered practices from her invaluable, practical classroom experiences. Myla meticulously designs content rooted in deeper learning, collaborative inquiry, and amplifying student voices.
As her district’s PBL Specialist focusing on Technology Integration, she collaborated with administrators, K-12 teachers, and students to implement innovative projects. This journey naturally evolved into a district instructional coaching role, where Myla facilitated job-embedded professional learning, providing tailored support to individual teachers and administrative teams.
Away from the professional realm, Myla dedicates her time to volunteering, reveling in the joy of musical theater, and cherishing moments with family. Whether on personal or work-related travels, Myla always finds a quiet moment in a local coffee shop, in the company of a good book.
